I have been getting questions in my email and on twitter from some of my blog readers asking how I write such great blog posts.

Writing blog posts is very easy for me to do, it’s something that comes natural. I like to write and this is something that I have been doing from I was attending school. I know a saying that goes, “the pen is more powerful than the sword” and this proves to be true in the blogging world.

You have to do lots of writing when it comes to blogging and you have to make sure what you are writing is genuine, true and have information to please your readers.

I am going to share with you how I write such great blog posts and what I do to come up with my contents.

Do Lots Of Thinking

At sometimes I think that I have a crazy thinking ability. This is because my mind is always at work, thinking and wondering all over the place. When I wake up in the mornings, my mind starts to work, during the day and when I go to sleep. This way I have a healthy mind set to help me write great blog posts.

Read… Lots Of Reading

In one of my previous post, How To Develop Good Writing Technique, I talked about reading. You have to do lots of reading in order to develop good writing technique.

Read different articles from different authors such as magazine, other blogs, forums, news papers, etc. This will help to improving your style of writing.

Remember Your Readers

Remember when you write a blog post it is to educate your blog readers. If you were writing for yourself then it would be best if you have a diary. If you are writing to please your readers then make your blog easy to read and make sure you stick to whatever you are writing about. Write in short paragraphs and use sub-headings to break up your articles into different sections or points.

I am writing this post because of my readers. They are the one that inquired about me writing guest post, so I have to satisfy their needs by writing specially for them. If you write specially for your blog readers if they ask you a question then they will really appreciate it and want to subscribe to your blog.

In Conclusion…

I hope that these tips have helped you out a lot and hope you will be able to write some super blog posts.

I normally think of my blog article title, then pick out the main points which I use as sub-headings and then write for the different sub-headings.

Just remember to keep your readers in mind, do lots of reading, think about what you are going to write about and develop a great article.

That is very true. When anybody reads a lot on different topics it starts brainstorming. After you finish reading sit and try to recall the things you’ve read. There are greater chances that you’ll have a number of post ideas. You surely created a great post if you think about your readers when you write on those ideas.

This is some how similar process for me as well. Sometimes when I feel like exhausted, I run away from everything until I feel refreshed to come back and read some more and write a few more posts.

The language problem stops if English is not your first language but lot of reading and writing your posts gradually improves it.

Thanks Kharim for sharing your experience. Hope it will help the new writers to get inspiration.

Hey Kharim, I’ve enjoyed reading this post. I find that if you provide an article that is really thought out and can actually be useful to someone then its most likely going to be considered a good article…I think you’ve made it really clear what generally makes a good blog post. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah Kimi. I like to think and brain storm, this is what helps me to write. Plus when I try something and it has worked for me, I write a post about it as well. When you write about things that you do and say it has made your blog successful then you will gain more visitors and subscribers πŸ™‚

If I ever am having trouble writing an article, I look at previous content from both me and my readers. If my readers write with one style, and a majority of them do, writing similar to them will keep them coming back. Also, if they like my old style, they’ll love seeing the repetition.
