Successful Bloggers – Things That I Have Noticed About Them

Since the beginning of the year 2013, I have been noticing the things which bloggers have been doing to become a successful blogger and making money from their blogs.

I was thinking to myself while browsing a few blogs and this post came to my mind and this is the reason why I am posting it so that my readers can read my thoughts.

I am not sure how this article will turn out, not sure how long or short it will be and I am not sure of the responses that I may get, but all I know is that my brain is overflowing with knowledge right now. So I am just going to write what I have learned and notice by browsing through some successful blogs.

They Blog Regularly

One of the simplest reasons why these bloggers are successful is because they write articles on a regular basis.

Without contents on their blog then they wouldn’t have visitors rushing to their blogs to read their contents.

This might not seem like a big deal to some people, but trust me this is one of the first rules to a bloggers success.

Even though most successful bloggers have networking and other stuff to do to bring in the traffic, most of their time is spent doing content writing. It’s not all about blog commenting, networking and those other stuff, but content writing is where it’s at.

I am not saying that networking and blog commenting isn’t worth it, because those are two areas in which you can get tons of traffic.

What I mean is that when these bloggers spend lots of time doing content writing, their articles turn out wonderful and they appeal to everyone who reads it.

I  really want to become a successful blogger and this is going to be my new trick to blogging success – Post on a regular basis.

Successful Bloggers Make Money, Not Dream It

Another reason why a lot of people are diving into blogging is because they heard of the money making benefits that comes with it.

If a person who starts a blog to make money and doesn’t focus on the things that will help to make the money will never be successful.

Just last week I was having a chat with a person on Facebook and he was asking if I really make money blogging. I told him, “Yes, I do make money blogging.” Right there and then he wanted to create a blog just to make money.

I gave him a list of tools and things he needed to do in order to create a blog. He did create a blog and made a few posts. I asked him for the link to his blog and his blog’s title was something that could not be pronounced. This is because he used numbers and letters in his blog’s title and URL.

He just wanted to make money and didn’t even think about the title of his blog.

The point that I am trying to make is that if a person dream too much about the money making process doesn’t have any focus on the things which will make him/her a successful blogger.

Sorry, I meant ALL of these successful bloggers participate in guest blogging. Why?

This is because guest blogging pulls in more traffic than anything else.

I remember doing my first guest post in the very first month that I started this blog. That single guest post more than doubled the traffic to my one month old blog.

You can imagine the feeling this gave to me knowing that I had a new blog and doubled my blog traffic with a single guest post.

These successful bloggers know that guest posting will help to double your blog traffic and this is the reason why they do it to help them reach blogging success.

Here are some guest blogging tips:

• Guest posts on blogs in your niche
• Choose blogs with higher traffic than yours
• Submit the best possible content as guest post
• Reply to each and every comment
• Remember to neatly embed links back to your blog

Applying those tips mentioned above will help to increase your blog traffic greatly.

Another tip is to guest post on a regular basis on a number of different blogs.

Hang With The Pros

If you want to become a pro blogger then you have to hang out with the pro bloggers as well.

What I notice about there new successful bloggers is that they associate themselves with people who are already professional in the blogging field.

When they do this it is easier for them to get tips from there pro so that they too can become successful in blogging.

They try to imitate these pro by writing like them or have a great blog design like them as well.

Hanging with pro bloggers as well is a part of networking and this will help you to get some exposure to your blog.

Build A Mailing List

Another thing which I have noticed about these successful bloggers is that they all have one thing in common on their blog.

Know what is that?

You guessed it right! A mailing list.

Building a mailing list is not an option but trust me, it can help to bring a lot of success when it comes to making money.

I have a small mailing list and last week I sent out a single email and made quite a few bucks from my list in 1 hour of send that newsletter (won’t say home much I made).

Now this opened up my eyes to a lot of things.

It made me realize that my list wasn’t dead. I realized that if my list was so small and I made that amount of money from it, this means that I could have made a whole lot more if my list was bigger.

My new aim was to start building my list to be much stringer.

Market Your Own Products

A lot of these successful bloggers also have products of their own and they make lots of money selling them.

I know you might be thinking that you don’t know how to code a plugin or writing an ebook may seem like a lot of work. And on the other hand you might not make any money from it.

Well look here! Anybody can make money online! I never thought that I would have this much success in making money from this blog because I had only created it because I loved blogging.

Remember an article that I had written some time ago about how to make your first $100 from your blog?

In that post I had mentioned how you don’t have to make your first $100 by selling your product for $100.

But what you can do is sell your product for a cheaper price and then when it adds up you might even make more than $100.

Use Strategy, No Strength

Most times a blogger who is eager to make money from his blog will go all out into trying to make money and this often requires a lot of strength.

This normally ends up in failure.

The easiest ways to make money from a blog, whether it is with Google Adsense, affiliate marketing, selling ads, doing services or whatever the case may be, having a strategy is what works best.

If you have a strategy to make money from your blog then no matter what methods you use then money will always come your way.

It is often best to target a money making method for your blog and then capitalize on it.  After that you can branch off into other money making areas and this will also help you to make more money in the long run.

In Conclusion…

There were a tons of things that I had notice about these successful bloggers and what I wrote were the most important things noticed.

What I advice you to do is go from blog to blog as well and observe these successful bloggers and let them be your role model if you desire to become a successful blogger as well.
